Another hopping SA translator

Eh, more of a side step than a hippetty hop. This application moves the facility from Bulverde and 281 to Eisenhower Park, just north of 1604. Also included is a raise in antenna height, but with that comes a sacrifice in power. It will perform some better than it does now, Mouse, but I wouldn't expect too much improvement to the overall output of 93-7.

Ah, that makes sense. It's actually moving to the tower that the 99.9 ghost-translator is licensed for right now.

It looks like Global now has an address in San Antonio, from the app it's on Blanco. KJMA is still not the listed station for it, though. But actually an FCC staffer told me once in an email that a translator doesn't have to rebroadcast the station on it's application.
Funny part is, the name for the member and manager on this new application is "Christian Wertz"? Is it just a coincidence that the translator is broadcasting Catholic talk programming?

LOL sorry guys, I'm just suspicious of all these hoppers, no way to be sure if they're legit, I don't know anyone in radio really. It just seems like I'm the only one in town who cares.

Correct (in most cases, anyway). So long as the translator gets permission to rebroadcast the station and it can legally broadcast said station, it can notify the FCC after the fact.

The CP for 93.7 to move was granted.

I believe Protelse LLC actually might be the owner of 93-7. One of the addresses on the CP is the same as the one all over their three other CPs.
93-7 translator in Hollywood Park: http://fccdata.org/?facid=139150&appid=1720518&i=1 Look at the address for applicant.

100-7 in Cotulla TX: http://fccdata.org/?facid=198782
105-1 in Encinal TX: http://fccdata.org/?facid=198783
106-5 in Hico TX: http://fccdata.org/?facid=198784

This is interesting and the following's my speculation LOL. Either someone hiding with another person's address, or someone using a fake name in one of these apps... There's also the possibility Christian lives with Abraham.
