Been listening online to this soft AC....very nice and relaxing.

Question: Does WDUV have any jocks? It looks like they have a DJ in the morning...and that's it?

Are they positioned as a "jockless" most of the day?

Jockless most of the day during the week and jockless as well all weekend. Don't ever expect to hear any time checks or current weather other than the morning drive Monday through Friday.

It is basically the format structure that Beautiful Music stations had back in the 70's and early 80's with
vocals...

That is true, although there have been some beautiful music stations here in the late 60's and 1970's (I'm thinking mainly WWBA at 107.3 and 680 AM during their beautiful music era as well as WFLA FM in the 1960's)) that seemed to have automation that did manage to cut in with time checks and if I'm not mistaken temperature checks, which I found amazing that today's automation is being used to that end, to at least give the format more of a live presence .

Although WWBA during all or most of the beautiful music era, was music only with the liner "Music too beautiful for words!"

I meant in the sense that the format is jockless, using recorded liners and no improvisation. Even when live, such as some of the SRP and Bonneville clients in major markets, the format had no "jocking" or improvisation and followed a very similar format mechanics; even today save for the change in stops for PPM effectiveness there is no difference in structure from that of WGUL or WWBA or WJYW.
