Another matter: It's difficult to compare different station relative qualities on AM receivers made now that are gawdawful. I'd have to dig out my old Superadio 3 or C Crane radio to make that evaluation....then there's the new millennium noise floor that has dramatically increased. I will, however, give it a try in the next week or so when I'm there in the daytime (to avoid the cacophony of noise that prevails at night). There wouldn't be any measurement involved..just what sounds bad/good/in between to my ears.
