BW BROADCAST V2 FM TRANSMITTERS updated?!

Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if the guys at BW Broadcast are working on V3 for their line of transmitters and when it will be rolled out. Thanks in advance,

Nothing I've heard about. They added a lot of features in the V2 line, so I'm not sure what else a transmitter needs.

From V1 to V2, they went from RS232 control to an integrated web server with a feature-packed control interface, a reasonably-decent multi-band audio processor, added AES to the audio input options and made the firmware upgradable by remote access. They did all that without completely destroying the price range, so they might leave well enough alone for now.

I couldnt agree with you more :)
I was just wondering as usually every 3 to 4 years they upgrade their Transmitter line in some fashion. As this has been around since 2013 I was thinking would they introduce RDS as standard too or upgrade the inbuilt audio processor in some way?

I've been buying their products since about the time they introduced the first of their processors. I wouldn't suggest to know what's in their minds, but my guess is they'd prefer to sell you a stand-alone processor or leave you the option to use another brand. To include their higher line in the transmitter would likely bring the price up accordingly, and you might find yourself debating whether you wanted to spend the extra money on a feature you might not use. The risk would be that you'd save the money and choose someone else's transmitter altogether.

Just a guess though...
