DIRECTV Question

yes
If you create 5 series timers it will disappear. Not one time timers but ones that would record series. If you dont have any timers set up the best workaround folks have done is create a timer for a show that has no new episodes and have it record all NEW shows. (it wont record any). Do this for 5 series and that should fix the "glitch"
