102.5 This afternoon has only been dead air got in the car about 12:20pm went to 2 thrift stores I tuned in from time to time at 2:30om still dead air weird. Seems like nobody is in the studio to turn the music back on l o l.

Or there was a technical issue.

If you are referring to K273CD, it is interesting to note that the 65 dbu of this translator covers less than 3,000 persons!
 
Most likely the OP is referring to KMAZ, Houston's 1 watt wonder.

He was, and indeed it was off the air for the better part of a 24 hour period. Amazing covers a whole lot more than 3,000 people, for sure. Aptly named, with that 1 watt from high above downtown.

I never think to check K273CD to see if it's even on the air when I'm up in Bellville. I'm still busy scratching my head as to exactly how its parent station pulled off its best Lazarus impersonation.
