Oldies 92~Seven (aka Lumberyard 14~Forty) blasted an email to Los Buckeye Boyz advising us of their 2 fer weekend, Memorial Day Weekend. Well, we were almost as giddy as a newly hired weather babe on 3TV. But then reality set in...how could the Goldminers spin two legitimate hits by artists like Edd Byrnes, The Champs, Shelly Fabares, Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Archies, etc? And What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a goin' on with their audio on 93~Three HD~Two? MIA the past week, and apparently none of the 12 people who have HD radios have noticed. While the Momplex is now under one roof at 52nd St & the 202, questions remain. And as soon as Nurse Jeff returns from tubing down the Salt River (and getting a hepatitis shot), we'll look into all of this.

Hmmm, maybe this was just a useless effort, so forget it! I don't think you ever heard these other tunes on KOOL when they were a real oldies station.
In other news, do you expect Mother Hubbard to have an open house for the new digs?
When catfish (lower case "c") was working for Mom, the Nurse and I thought we'd get a reserved parking spot for the Gremlin at the new Mom-plex. Then he leaves for I ♥ Debt, and we're left with surface parking only on 52nd Street. Wouldn't it be great if the former Morning Mayor threw a picnic to go with the Open House?
