ATTENTION KNOXVILLE: Antenna TV is coming to WVLT Local 8.2 (MyVLT) on September 5th.

Please share the good news with friends and family in the area.

Which brings up a question. Right now 8.2 is a My Network affiliate in HD (with syndicated programming). Are they moving My Network to 8-3 or are they dropping all syndicated shows on 8-2 and just have AntennaTV for 22 hours a day and My Network from 8-10 Eastern/7-9 Central?

Or did they mess up and meant to say 8.3 will be Antenna TV?

If it turns out like WYJJ-LP 27 in Jackson they'll probably still carry MNTV in prime time and Antenna TV during the rest of the day.
 
but it just seems weird that Gray would drop a bunch of syndicated programming to switch to AntennaTV when they could easily put it as a -3 on WVLT or their CW sister station.

The Facebook page has it as 8.2 for Antenna TV for 22-hours and all day weekends and MyNetworkTV on weeknights from 8:00-10:00pm. The link has the new logo to MyVLT2 as the same as the current one just with an orange shade and the Antenna TV logo added on the top right corner.

So to answer your question... MyTV/Antenna TV on 8.2
 
WLMT CW 30 in Memphis used to carry MNTV on 30.2 in prime time with Me TV during the rest of the day, but they dropped MNTV in recent years and carry Me TV full time now.
 
Looking at zap2it guide in the future and Knoxville gets SCREWED with AntennaTV
starting 9/5
My Network/syndicated programming is on from noon-11PM
AntennaTV from 11pm-noon (so overnights and mornings)

unknown about weekends yet (guide goes to 9/7)

shows the following
noon-Forensic Files
1:00 L&O: CI
3:00 FabLife (although that is cancelled after this season)
4-8 is 2 episodes of Seinfeld, Friends, 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly
8-10 My Net
10-11 local sports show

Hmmm no Andy Griffith
