KOUL Corpus Christi move-in apparently diluted.

KOUL Benavides had applied to move to Pertronilla with a COL change to Driscoll. They have modified their request to a move to Agua Dulce which loses most of their City coverage in Corpus Christi. Anyone know the scoop?
 
Don't they have a translator at 93-5 combined with KOUL, that covers Corpus? Moving KOUL further away gains them more coverage area, which would be my guess as to why they seek the move.

Things were so much easier for KOUL when they were throwing flames towards Houston @ 103-7.

Let's correct that to "Fill-in" translator. It looks like the Lopez's are running K228XM not as a fill in. Of course there couldn't be common ownership, etc.. etc.. The whole thing is a little more than shady. :)
