Summer School in Houston

Sounds like school is in session this Friday night, in Houston Texas. "Old School 87-7" on the air loud and clear at 87-70, 21:35, from the 4-4. It sounds like a Friday night mix show from the 80's, heavy on the disco and the Prince.

Is this the Beaumont KIPS-LD 6 coming in over here in north Houston? If so, they are running a heap load of heat. This thing has the needle buried on my Fisher receiver. I don't have a TV capable of picking up an analog signal, so I can't verify television reception.

Um...update time. It's running commercials from Atlanta. Tadpoles Atlanta.com in Kennesaw? Season 7 Bistro & Bar in College Park? Pal's in the historic Auburn district does sounds intriguing...

What the heck is going on here?

Yep, I just heard the 22:00 ID. WTBS LD Channel 6 Atlanta.

Now, Latino, tell me how am I picking it up OTA in Houston?

Edit to add: excuse the typo. The ID was WTBS LP, not LD.

Simple tropo . Ive picked up miami and ohio stations before. It happens

Some fantastic tropo then. Sounds like a new logging for me, and a departure from here to start whirling the dial.

Edit to add: they're playing "Da Butt". I don't believe I've ever heard Doom touch that one.

Are you sure someone isn't streaming the Atlanta station's audio in Houston?
I was in Atlanta recently and didn't hear an 87.70, or an 87.75. There is a CP for an analog LPTV with 3000 watts.
