Can't. This is Texans country. Closest Cowboys affiliate would be KJXJ 103-9 in College Station, or Livingston's KETX 1440.

Ah, nothing. As long as that little pipsqueak owns them, I won't even allow them on to my TV screen. Makes for some pretty intense conversations when I'm over in San Antonio, though.

If San Antonio was to actually get an NFL team (the Raiders have made lots of noise about possibly moving there) it would be interesting to see how the three-way split in team loyalties would play out in Texas. Don't think SA is getting a team in the foreseeable future, though. The Cowboys pretty much own the state outside of SE Texas. The only way that will change is if the Houston Texans start winning big, winning consistently, going far in the playoffs with Super Bowl appearances, at the same time the Cowboys go into a slump. The Texans could also use a few more star players in the same stratosphere as J.J. Watt.

Landry's dismissal from the Cowboys in 1989 was handled badly, but was necessary. The team was in a long term slump and needed fresh leadership. Landry was a good man and a great coach, but had been there too long.
 
Wasn't KLVI a Cowboys affiliate at one time? Certainly hasn't been since 2007 or so, but I thought I read that they were, which if so would be Houston's de facto Cowboys affiliate given the great signal. I believe NFL teams have some radius of exclusivity as far as radio coverage around their home market, but it can't be that much. Here in Ohio, the Browns have an affiliate in Dayton, only 55 miles from Cincinnati.
Not a Cowboys fan but I remember trying to pull the games in for the sake of variety years ago. Couldn't even get 1450 from Beaumont in the Clear Lake area, and WOAI was (and, I'm sure, still is) subject to a lot of interference daytime in that part of town.
As far as having a team in San Antonio, the Cowboys and Texans should do everything they can to block it. I just don't see it happening. Cowboys are way too popular and ingrained in that market.
