The August ratings (July 16 - August 12 ) will be released on 8/29/2016. Any thoughts on the ratings?

Is Philadelphia the largest radio market with a strong Mainstream/Active Rock station? These days it seems like the only rock music on the radio in most of the largest markets is either Classic Rock or Alternative, but WMMR has Active tendencies and is currently the third-highest-rated station in Philadelphia. In the first 12 hours of today, I see Disturbed, P.O.D., Royal Blood, The Struts, Shinedown, Deftones, Red Sun Rising, Pop Evil, Zakk Wylde & Corey Taylor, Halestorm, Chris Cornell, The Pretty Reckless, Foals and Volbeat on their playlist, all of which are considered too new for Classic Rock and too heavy for (today's) Alternative.

I thought WMMR was already classified as Active Rock, according to AllAccess. I know the one link you posted says AOR, but it's very much Active Rock IMO.

Some midwest markets have decently performing Active or Active-Leaning Alt stations.

My question is... WMMR's strong ratings... how much of that is the Preston & Steve effect? Are the ratings solid throughout the day, or do they significantly drop off after the morning show signs off? (Like how YSP's ratings weren't great outside of Howard Stern)
