Spanish on 105.1 FM?

Did WVRY switch formats, or did a new translator get dropped right in front of my house in Lebanon? Maybe we're still in FM skip season? Anyway, I didn't expect to hear a sort of "Spanish Inquisition" on 105.1 in the morning...

Now it seems like WVRY is simulcasting WNVL-1240...interesting...

Are you able to pick up WVRY from Lebanon? I live in Pegram, and I thought that I was on the very edge of their coverage area. I don't get them very well on the stereo system here at home, but they came in just fine on the car radio from Bellevue this morning.

At one time, there was to have been a translator for WMOT in Bellevue at 105.1. It was to have been located somewhere near the old Bellevue Center. However, WMOT comes in just fine in Bellevue, leading me to believe that such a translator would be completely unnecessary. I am not sure exactly where such a translator would have been located, as I don't know of any cell phone towers in that immediate vicinity. It is possible that the new One Bellevue Place development could include space for one. At any rate, no such translator exists at this time.

looks like you're hearing yet another move-in translator on 105.1...not WVRY Waverly

I think the actual signal for that station could have been much better towards Nashville, but has been on life support. This move-in may become a bit interesting. Seems like it's cutting it really close.

not to be technical...but it sounds like crap: this can't be the final result...lots of tweaking to do

You are always technical AND the smartest person in the room, Chris :) Which station sounds like crap? Or worse. Will listen today. I am pretty sure WVRY could have put a much better signal over Nashville than the old, outdated system that is not at 50k. I have no clue as usual, on this new tranny. You always said I sound like crap. I can't disagree with that either. Hope you are well, btw.

Which station sounds like crap?

that would be the translator on 105.1...overmodulated, distorted, and just a BAD signal right now:
however, remember when 98.3 fired up...it was also BAD until tweaking cleaned it up
