Chiefs radio

Now that the Chiefs have announced they want to broadcast in the STL AREA and the NFL waving the rule, allowing them to do so....who do you see trying to carry the games?

I know 1350 in Washington carries them, but would ESPN 101.1 want to?

Thoughts?

Did St. Louis fans support the Chiefs during the years between the departure of the Cardinals and the arrival of the Rams or just forget about pro football completely? Would there be a significant audience for Chiefs games there beyond the gamblers/fantasy players who'd listen to any NFL game they have money on and displaced Kansas Citians?

I heard somewhere that Stan wanted to have LA Rams games broadcast in St. Louis. Also heard he didn't have any takers. Don't know if it's true, but that's what I heard.

It would be great to air them on 1480 WJBM!

That would be an appropriate station for them LOL WJBM in beautiful Jerseyville, IL... "BM" in the call letters and the Rams go together :)

Is that the Jerseyville, IL station?

Yeppers, that's the one. Founded by the Jerseyville Business Men and former home to sister station 104.1 FM.

It's best format was "Oldies" from Gary Records Brown. I may have been the only one listening (besides the cows) but man it was a blast!

anyway....
