Sub Channel Station I.D.

I notice that KAZT's ME-TV sub-channel, 7.2, identifies itself at the top and bottom
of each hour. That also appears true for KFPH's Get TV and Escape, KUTP's MOVIES!
and BUZZER and KASW's Decades, Grit and Escape.
KSAZ Faux 10, however does not appear to identify it's 10.3 sub-channel, Heroes
and Icons at any time. Are there not station I.D. requirements for sub-channels?

I think (from when I last noticed it) that the BOH blurb is just a promo, but the TOH does indeed include a legal ID.

Speaking of the 7.2 MeTV TOH ID...for about the past--oh, six weeks or so, every time it airs they upcut the audio. It used to be clean, but now at the beginning it sounds like "...iss is..." instead of "...this is..."

Hey, KAZT! What's the deal? Why has this goof gone on for so long? Fix your automation system (or whatever it is). At least it doesn't impact the legal ID, since that is visual only. If anyone knows someone on the KAZT programming or engineering staff in Phoenix or Prescott, please give 'em a heads-up on this.

As for getTV, I think I have also seen a legal ID "fonted" (or whatever the correct term nowadays is) at the TOH. Believe it has two sets of calls/COLs (Phoenix and Flagstaff).

Today I'm watching 7.2 and they finally fixed the TOH ID drop in! Did someone from KAZT see my post yesterday? I saw non-upcut audio on the IDs at 4:00 and 5:00 PM. I'd add 3:00 PM to that, but it was not a legal ID--instead, a generic "fill the :10 hole" drop-in from the MeTV network.

KAZT went from the 4x3 format to the 16x9 format earlier this week on
their .2 subchannel, Me-TV. The resolution still indicates 480 but it is
significantly clearer than before. Perhaps those changes could have
affected the audio.

Maybe that's what caused another problem a few days ago, at least when watching 7.2 via the local cable company (they would like for me to mention their name). I turned on cable 93 and the aspect ratio was all out-of-whack--the picture was stretched vertically (and not on other cable channels, only on 93). So I flipped on 7.2 OTA and solved the problem. Appears to be normal now on the cable feed.
