Time Warner may try to sell WPCH-TV license to avoid FCC Review

It makes a lot of sense. The station doesn't fit in with AT&T's agenda at all, and opens them up for all kinds of regulatory issues as a common carrier.

The concept of a super station may have been good 40 years ago, but no one cares now. Meredith is operating it as an LMA. Might as well go the whole way.

Dpm't get your hopes up. Doubt very much regulators will approve the sale. Something called market dominance, or monopolistic or something like that…
