Looks familiar. I was living in Pittsburgh in a house with no cable at the time.

This must have been after WQEX started simulcasting WQED in anticipation of a sale that would
take years to consummate. But before WPGH began trying to produce a newscast (they used to
run a movie at 10PM)

My kids were young at the time. I came to know that WQED schedule like the back of my hand.

No listings for channel 22?
This is the schedule for that day. The scanned paper was a little bit damaged, so I couldn't read well a few names.

Too bad I asked. That WPTT schedule was bad. Very non-competitive–not the programming, but rather in their arrangement.

It says something about your station if part of the Disney Afternoon is airing on the Group W-owned, VHF CBS affiliate AGAINST YOU in your market.

I believe that at the time WPTT was under the "ownership" of Eddie Edwards, a radio station owner who had once been a newscaster on this station.

I put "ownership" in quotes because it was a ruse for Sinclair to get around ownership rules in effect at the time. The former owners of WPTT sold to Edwards, who was a minority owner. He ran all-home shopping for awhile, and then began a leased-time arrangement with Sinclair.

I believe this schedule is made of spillover programs from their other station, WPGH.

Indeed. I imagine that Disney couldn't have been too happy about their shows airing in morning time slots in a big market like Pittsburgh. They really should have been on WPTT in the afternoon.
