UK games on WAKY via Tunein

So, Tuesday night I was listening to the UK game coverage on WAKY through the Tunein app on my phone because it is closer in real time than iHeart's feed. After halftime, I reopened the app and got a message that the station was temporarily unavailable. I tried WAKY from a different radio app and got the same message. The feed was back on the next day (for music). Does anybody know if there's a new game streaming policy as of 2017? The game feed was still on iHeart, but almost 2 minutes behind.

I know that the AM station and FM translator go silent anytime a UK game is on, maybe that has something to do with it?

Individual affiliates aren't supposed to stream the games they air. Their syndicator (Learfield?) maintains a separate feed on TuneIn, and we're supposed to listen there. This is the case for just about all sports, college and pro, except for the NHL, which allows their teams' flagship stations (not sure about other affiliates) to air their games.
