Keith Larson's replacement

Sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone...
The hosts they've trotted out from 9-noon have been painful to listen to.
Joe Gillespie sounds like he's fallen asleep.
Some guy I've never heard of was on this morning, had the grammar of a high schooler.
Doc Washburn just pushes conspiracy theories.

I'm glad to see Keith's advertisers have followed him to the podcast. I'd think there will be a dearth of sales on WBT in the long term. Everything they've offered is terrible.

Well they are still running fill in hosts and have not yet named a permanent replacement. But I did not know Larson now has a podcast. Has he stated his thoughts on his dismissal, or do legal issues prevent him from commenting yet?

I have heard WBT has selected a replacement midday host but has not made an announcement just yet. But should be forthcoming soon. So stay tuned.

One of my Clients has given up listening to WBT and now listens to the big AM out of Atlanta. 750KHz? I can't remember.

Steve.

They have now named Scott Fitzgerald as new midday host. He seems to have a laid back, congenial demeanor rather than the pick and poke, sometimes confrontational style of his predecessor.

WSB is a great flagship station. But I do not particularly care for midday host Herman Cain who tookover after Neal Boortz retired. But I do find Clark Howard informative from a consumer standpoint if he is still on there.
