No more Dr. Grace

Thanks for the update--maybe she'll get to be part of her hubby's show now or something else? Didn't know if it was brokered or what.

As of this morning, the Mike Gallagher syndicated show is on 1260 instead of Mrs. Kuhner.

These pay-for-play programs rarely ever last.

They people paying for the time get weary of shelling out money, with nothing coming back in.

Or, they get tired of devoting time to doing a show with no response and little to show for it.

Jeff Santos was renting out 1510 for awhile, then either ran out of money or Blackstrap wanted to run NBCSports or both.Agreed on both reasons.

It sounds like they revamped the late overnight-early morning, too, as it seems they dumped Steve Deace and have a couple of dudes I never heard of for the 3am hr, Jay Secula at 4am and a medical call-in (Dr. Bob Marshallʼs Healthline?....I didnʼt note who it was, though it had notable reverb) at 5am.

Jay Sekulow (when I first heard his name I thought it sounded like Jay Severin), whose shows have aired on 590 and 950, a law expert who is with the religious right's answer to the
ACLU, the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice). His cases have involved Jews for Jesus, protesting in front
of abortion clinics, prayer before football games, etc. He's been on Christian Broadcasting Network and Fox News.
Steve Deace filled in for Howie once and the listeners didn't like him.

Sekulow is also on 2-3 pm as I noticed yesterday. Larry Elder, a black conservative whose show runs 6-9 pm is also run at noon for an hour.

I noted him on Fri night at 11:30pm, so I guess they just moved him to a live clearance (9pm)—though they havenʼt updated the website schedule yet.

I missed that. Last I heard their son was going to an expensive catholic school in the Franklin area. Kuhner bitches about it periodically.

The 8-9 show on RKO wasn't bad this weekend. I'm not sure I could listen to her for a 3 hour stint though. Something about her style.

You are probably right. Bill Kelly could have been buying the time. They ran a lot of his spots frm day one. Kelley his wife Kelly Kelly and the Kuhners are friends. Before the Salem show Dr. Grace bought 2 hours every Saturday afternoon on a small station in North Carolina
