WZID-HD2 questions...

I have a couple of questions about the CHR format I am picking up on 95.7 WZID HD2.

1.) Where else does this station air? (Is it WFTN-FM? Somewhere else too? Translator?)

2.) Didn't they have one local shift there? Wasn't the PM drive hosted by someone? Is it still?

Thanks!

WZID HD2 is used by Saga to "create" an additional station that is broadcast on translators at 94.1 in Manchester and 103.1 in Concord. It is syndicated from satellite. They also do this in Keene with translators from an HD2 and HD3 off one of their local FMs. Co-owned WFEA AM Manchester is now on a FM translator at 99.9.

Plenty of satellite formats have jocks/DJ's....this doesn't.

And....didn't they used to tout one local afternoon jock? (He used to be on their website.)

what is being broadcast on the 103.1 translater now? I see that was removed from the hot hits branding.

Listening to 103.1 as I type this @ 3:30 AM on Mon. 2/5....it's "The Outlaw" -- this (country) format USED to be on WOTL (102.3) before it went to "The Hawk" (WWHK)...
At last check 102.3 is just simulcasting WRVR 92.5 ("The River") from Haverill, MA. -- which, IMHO, makes NO sense, since WRVR is -and always HAS been - a 50 kw "cooker" covering northeast MA and ALL of southern NH...!!
A bit of history....102.3, originally WKXL-FM, signed on March 7, 1972 -- NH's Primary Day -- at 8:45 AM, with then-owner Frank Estes the "guest" on the daily "Coffee Chat" show...
I started a 6 year stint there the next day, March 8th!!:)
