Christopher Kimball Gone from America's Test Kitchen (PBS)

I have been a fan of ATK for years. Even if you're not the greatest cook, it is a fun show to watch and Kimball was a major reason.

I read a few months ago that the parent company & Kimball could not come to a deal and he told the NY Times he was fired. But it took till now for me to see a show with no Kimball. It's quite a switch not to see Kimball in his apron and bow tie.

Julia Collin Davison and Bridget Lancaster are now not just the cooks Kimball questions but the hosts as well. According to Wikipedia, Kimball hosted for 16 years. By the way, he comes off as a Vermont farmer and unassuming, but he's also been married three times. His current wife was a producer on the show. Did he start dating her while still married to Wife #2?

They're now working on a new show he will host.

And he has a new magazine, Milk Street (named after the historic location he renovated to set up his new shop) of which a sample issue is now available. I requested mine; the show was definitely Kimball and his interesting style and personality.
