New show on WHAS

They really need to replace Mark Levin, 9-midnight. His voice is so irritating to me that I can't listen to him.

Even on things I agree with him on, that's just too much anger for that late at night. Joe Elliot was calm, enjoyable to listen to, and local.

Haven't listened to Terry Meiners in a long time but Is He still doing the same character voices that he did in the mid 90's? Gary Burbank is a legend and knew when it was time to hang up his headphones at least.

Apparently WLKY 32 became the new weather provider for 840 WHAS at midnight as they are simulcasting and just referenced the new agreement. Interesting. WAVE 3 had been the provider for probably 12-13 years.

I heard that too... They recently made the change back to ABC radio news at the top of the hour during nights in the fall of 2016.
In Lexington, they have WKYT as the weather/news iheart partner. Also use clips from WKYT for WHAS as well.

We old timers have transitioned from Terry Meiners interacting with Chuck Taylor and Ken Schulz from Channel 11 to John Belski and Kevin Harned from Channel 3, we'll transition to Jay. Still, Terry and Kevin seemed to gee-and-haw quite well together. Then again, the recent format tweak at WHAS had them doing less of that. I'm sure this was a pure business decision, nothing against WAVE3 or for WLKY.

It would be nice to hear Belski on there again.

Funny you mentioned that. How I first found out that WHAS switched to WLKY was around 1 AM Wednesday morning when I turned on WHAS.They were simulcasting WLKY 32's severe weather coverage and the first voice I heard was John Belski.I thought what the heck is John Belski doing on WHAS Radio :)
