Does anybody else find Samantha Bee horribly annoying?

The whole show's just her whining for 30 minutes about how horrible it is to disagree with her on anything she thinks and how men are just horrible. It was clear through the election that she even didn't like Bernie Sanders and was just in love with Hillary Clinton. What are your thoughts on her?

Oh, gawd, yes. Don't get me started.

We already have enough shrill, unfunny, name-calling political comics.
Did not need to import more of them from Canada.

I can't say that I've ever consciously found Samantha annoying, but I've stopped watching the show, though I still watch similar shows like The Daily Show and John Oliver.

I figured I just didn't get her brand of humor. I flip the channel when her show begins because the promos I see seemed so unfunny to me that I just don't care to give the show a shot. Nothing to do with politics, just nothing that even made me want to smile, much less laugh. She might be great but I just don't 'get' her.

Same Here I like the Daily Show even with the current host Trevor Noah, Its more of a goose chase over the actions of congress, the president and cable talk show hosts. John Oliver a former Daily Show Staff Member from the Jon Stewart era he tends to cite more investigative stories in his segments and make them funny and relatable.

Everyone on this thread, including me, is not in Samantha Bee's target demographic. Apparently plenty of those that are in the target demo are fams.

Not sure about "everyone on this thread," but anyone who is older, male, and conservative probably won't like her. Oh well. Lots of other places for them.

This thread comes from the same OP who found "Meghan Trainor annoying." That says a lot. Empowered women can be annoying to some men.

Not to mention that foreigners coming here to rag on our politics (John Oliver, anyone?)
rubs a whole lot of us the wrong way.

Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is to TV what Hotel California is to music. I don't need to see something I've seen so many times that I already know the dialogue.

I understand there's an audience for it, just as there is for 70s rock, but I'm not that audience.

Seems to me there are other channels that run old Seinfeld episodes.

DeTocqueville is to John Oliver as a five-course gourmet meal is to Chicken McNuggets.

Each is appropriate to their time in history. I was simply responding to your issue with foreigners. It's not an unusual thing, and we Americans seem to have no problem commenting on the governments and policies of other countries, and sometimes even forcing our beliefs on others. For example: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall."
