Cnn to move master control

That would make sense, given that almost all of CNN's programming from 6am to midnight M-F comes from either New York or D.C. Possibly all of it, I'm not sure if there's still an hour or two of "newsroom" left in Atlanta.

Techwood is the historic original location for CNN. That area around CNN Center has changed a lot in the last few years. The linked article says they plan to sell the building. Probably a good idea.

That's a nice way of saying the neighborhood has gotten really shady in recent years.
The Braves bugged out to the suburbs for the same reason.

Get on Google maps and look for the facility...I think 99 percent of the dishes on the ground there are Turner's. (I saw them when I worked on GPTV's facility in 1997. Looks like they've added a few.)
Makes sense to put master control that much closer to source acquisition...save on fiber to CNN Center or microwave or however the heck they get it from one point to another.
