WLRN Might Be On The Block

This article is about the TV station
but does not mention their FM facility.
 
It's an interesting issue. There are examples of stations where the license is still retained by the educational institution, but the station itself is not on school board grounds. Perhaps that should be considered as well. Of course that means additional expense for the foundation, but it eliminates the liability issues. Selling the station seems to be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
 
Perhaps APMG would be interested in the FM?
They would have a much better chance than with that rimshot near Homestead.

It feels like you're jumping the gun. Based on this article, they really don't know what to do yet. The other option mentioned would be to do a simple transfer of ownership to the foundation, bypassing the open market completely. That's what happened with WNYC, and several other similar operations.
