Springfield Ratings

Because Saga Communications does not subscribe to A.C. Nielsen, Springfield's ratings profile appears rather meager. While I can imagine that WAQY "Rock 102" would have an estimable book, I'd be curious to know how well WLZX "Lazer 99.3" and WHMP would fare. Any insights?

And now WHMP is no longer available in Springfield on AM 1600. They flipped to a simulcast of LAZER to feed a new translator for LAZER.

Perhaps the translator—W286DB at 105.1 MHz—will attract a few more ears in Springfield and Enfield. Its planned move to 95.3 MHz on Provin Mountain may further expand Lazer's listenership. Sadly, the 2,500-Watt daytimer at 1600 kHz has been reduced to being a mere throwaway.
