First his co host left..more recently he's been off, with morning show reruns in the WMEX 1510 10-noon slot. Now, this about Joe Shortsleeve:

Why is anything on a station that placed 49th in the market in 12+ in the average of Jan-Feb-Mar even worth posting about?

Because some of these stations are the only ones doing anything interesting, trying anything new...or showing any creativity at all.

Surely you can understand that?

A station with a cume only slightly greater than the population of St Pierre et Miquelon is obviously neither interesting nor creative.

There is a PDF file of the complaint available as a link on the Universal Hub article linked above. I can't find any mention of this legal action on either radio board.

Renegade Radio announced this morning that shortsleeve is no longer employed at WMEX...he's running for Timility's seat in the Senate. (This was prompted by a caller who said she called WMEX yesterday and was told joe is gone).
 
Rep Geoff Diehl now on "filling in" but he didn't say for Joe..as it said above, Joe no longer w station.About to talk to I'iiiiiiiiiiiim Michael Graham

I guess they can get away with this because Diehl hasn't formally announced he's running against Warren, but has simply formed an exploratory committee or something along those lines to fundraise for a possible run.
 
As for Joe Ligotti, found out that they quietly settled with him for severance pay, etc. He had been demanding 1-3 yrs at full salary. Clashed with their producer etc.
