Adam West passes away

Family Guy won't be the same ever again.

Oh my goodness...what a loss!! RIP to the original Batman...the BEST! I still have several Batman episodes on VHS plus the 1966 movie, I will watch those ANY DAY over the newer movies and remakes. :(

I guess the mayor will have to die.

My favorite Batman. Meanwhile, David Mazouz played the part on TV, sort of, for the first time last week. He was in costume, but not the same one, and he rescued people, but that's as far as it goes. Seems appropriate that both happened the same week.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles is honoring actor Adam West with a proper send-off Tonight (6-15-17) by lighting the Bat-Signal at City Hall.

West, the actor best-known for playing Batman in the 1960 television series, died Friday at the age of 88.

In Batman comics, movies and TV shows, the Bat-Signal is a spotlight with the shadow of Batman's winged emblem that is shown on the night sky to call for Batman's help.

Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that the Bat-Signal will be lit at City Hall, using the hashtag #BrightKnight on Twitter. The iconic signal will be projected onto the tower of L.A. City Hall at Spring Street at 9 p.m.
