Howie's daughter from his first marriage Franny is a former producer for Rooney at WGBH and now works at WBUR. After his daughter was hired at WGBH, Carr's occasional barbs at Ch.2 and PBS ended.
Carr met his 2nd wife while she was working in ad sales at WHDH Radio. She has also dabbled in Real Estate along with packing and shipping Howie's books and T Shirts. I would be curious to know what she is doing for Trump.
I recently read that since Hollaback Holly founded her political consulting firm, Tuesday Results several years ago 85% of her clients have lost their races for office.

Slight correction: Believe he met HL Carr II at WRKO not WHDH Radio when she was an assistant/friend to then morning talker, Janet Jaghelian.
1.) Where did you "read" this? Can you cite a source?
2.) If the above is true....and most of her clients are Republicans running in Massachusetts, that's understandable...and maybe even a pretty good record.

As far as newspapers go it is kind of spurious of BH management to suspend one columnist and not the other but again, Howie is special isn't he?

WRKO's ratings are so low and the Herald readership is non-existent that the discussion is hardly worth the effort.

By what metric are you judging them? Using the 6+ "Beauty Queen " numbers is not a fair or valid method.
Do you have access to numbers we don't have?
The only numbers that count are on the rate card, and how much unsold inventory there is.
As to the Herald, they will survive the Globe and that is just fine with me.
There are a lot of people that can be considered "has beens" in the radio business, formerly big names that are now permanently on the sand.
Howie Carr is still in the business, he has managed to cobble together a regional network and get advertisers.
I think it is safe to say he is probably set for life. If that is a has been, I want to be one too.
Don't know if its true or not, but wouldn't surprise me. I recall for a while she was publishing via e-mail a political "newsletter", none of which particularly knocked my socks off.
Correct. I was at the caucus for the district she was elected from. Some never-Trumpers attempted to block her nomination, to no avail.
Probably the last time in my life I'll ever attend a congressional district caucus. Most boring experience of my life, 8 hours wasted I can never get back.
