OTS Media in Rock Hill, SC is on the lookout for its next big Morning Show star! WRHI, is the heritage Radio Station in South Carolina as the only remaining station with its original call letters, dial position, and city of license. WRHI is broadcast on FM 100.1 and AM 1340. WRHI has been named the State's Top Radio Station by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association for 7 out of the last 12 years.
This position is the "prime" position on the station as you will Host the morning show. The preferred candidate is one that is quick thinking and can keep the listener entertained while also informing. "Palmetto Mornings" is a hyper-local show so you will need to be "in the know" for all things York/Lancaster county, SC. The preferred candidate has market experience in the Charlotte, NC market and has hosted a Morning show for at least 5 years.
In addition, you will have regular production duties and be expected to handle remotes in evenings and weekends. This person will also regularly be expected to "emcee" community events as a representative of OTS Media. You should be extremely active in the world of social media and regularly integrate that into your show preparation and during the show.
