103.7 Renew FM ?

How long have they been on this frequency ?

I thought his was an R.I. station.

They are targeting Boston with this station. I heard an ad mention Boston/South Shore.

Is this officially in the Boston market ?

Yes, it's been on the Hancock for a few years with 10 watts, which covers a lot of ground from that height. It's technically a translator of 88.5 WWRN in Rockport, MA.

It has a slight directional null to the southwest, apparently to protect WVEI-FM Westerly, RI.

Was WVEI-FM once WERI-FM????
Back in the '70s i worked at (what was then) WNBX-FM in Keene, NH....they were on 103.7.....and I recall hearing WERI-FM on occasion when atmospheric "ducting" occurred....

Yes it was WERI, later rocker WWRX...eventually it became a WFNX sister station, then it was sold to Entercom who made it WEEI-FM simulcasting WEEI 850. When 93.7 in Lawrence
became WEEI-FM sportsradio, the calls became WVEI-FM
