WQMF sounds terrible

I'm not talking about their format although that is up for debate. For about a week I've noticed that their audio has sounded terrible.Has anyone else noticed it? Or is no one listening? Wonder what is going on? Even WNAS 88.1 sounds better!

It's funny that you bring this up, I haven't been here in a while and actually came here to ask if anybody else noticed too, it seems it has been that way for a week. The quality of the audio sounds almost exactly like how "Everything That Rocks" WLRS on 105.1 sounded during those last few months when everybody stopped caring.

It was really noticeable while I was channel surfing in the car. QMF and 107.7 were both playing "Hot for Teacher" at the same time. QMF's sounded terrible, while 107.7's sounded like it was supposed to.

And they wonder why sfr is killin n there not

Will somebody puh lease launch a current rock station in louisville with good audio puh lease? I say either blow uo 100.5 or 93.1 two stations noone gives an eff about

I think the problem with modern rock is this: what do you even play on a modern rock station in 2017?

When I think of the stuff that WLRS would have played 10-15 years ago, it seems like I still hear newer stuff like that, but it's been absorbed elsewhere. Some of it gets played by stations like 102.3, some on stations like 99.7, some on stations like 106.9, and some even on stations like 91.9... and of course some of it on a mix of those. None of it seems to fit in on one station anymore.

The last days of The Fox were more or less reliving that period from about 1990-2005 (or so) with a few newer things (not many) that didn't really fit in on one of those other stations thrown in. They seemed to have sort of an identity crisis with what else to play outside of that, and it was sort of hard to tell what they were doing and they'd seem like a totally different modern rock station every time they tweaked the playlist.

Other markets do it why cant louisville? Lots of markets have chr and hot ac and alternative and active and classic rock and AAA Why cant louisville? Why does louisville have to make it so hard? It is shocking QMF has any listeners

But lrs 105 tried that with there everything that rocks format. I say go alt/active rock leave the classic rock to SFR and puh lease make it live n local eff the premium choice crap.
