WBZ news on channel 38

Being a very early riser, I'm a big fan of the WBZ news at 8 p.m. on channel 38. I turned it on last night at 8 to find out it wasn't on. Why? I know WBZ was carrying the Patriots pre-season opener but how is that any different than when CBS programming is on WBZ. Not all of us are fans of the Patriots. 😀

You answered your own question: They pushed CBS prgmg over to 38.1, rather than mess with 4.2ʼs Decades (or 38.2ʼs H&I....BTW, when is ComCast going to pick up 38.2—I want my “NYPD Blue”! :D).

I would guess it's because 38.1 is on the satellites; 4.2 is not, at least not on DirecTV, which doesn't air subchannels.

Ahh, that could very well be!
