The KVST signal actually does pretty well all the way to I-10, with somewhat spotty coverage south of that. It causes major grief to KHGV, and pretty much obliterates KOYM less than two miles from their transmitter.
The proposed KREH translator supposedly will fit in between KOYM and KHGV, but will have its coverage severely limited by KVST.
Speaking of KREH, has anyone in the area of their AM transmitter ever heard them operating at night, with their supposed 10 watts? All I hear on 900 at night at my Cy-Fair location is a pileup of various stations. XEW is now very hard to receive, especially since the power cut from 250 too 100kw.
