Eclipse 2017: Who is covering it?

In Atlanta, CBS's WGCL/ch. 46 will probably follow CBS coverage with a local spot on the eclipse at 3 PM. That's when they normally air The Young & The Restless (the station's highest rated daytime show and the top show at 3 PM locally) but with CBS bumping the soap, WGCL currently has "To be announced" on DirecTV listings.
 
In Arizona, Phoenix independent, KTVK, aka 3TV, will have live coverage for two hours.
They will have a live remote from Flagstaff's Lowell Observatory, where the planet Pluto
was discovered. That looks to be the most comprehensive local coverage.
 
KC stations will be in St. Joesph to cover it KCTV5 News will be in at 11am then Bold and B. at 11:30am and then coverage from 12 to 2pm. kMBC 12 to 2pm coverage.
 
Astronomy shows on Youtube will go wall to wall with the Solar eclipse on Monday. But in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento we will go to the networks for Solar eclipse coverage. I think some of you from South Carolina to Oregon might be getting local coverage of the eclipse due to the fact that you happen to be on the path of the moon covering the sun with 100% visibility.
 
I haven't heard about anything else, but ABC has a two-hour special which they keep advertising. Local TV listings in the newspaper show "The Chew" and "General Hospital" Tuesday through Friday. Actually, they didn't correct "General Hospital" so I guess you just have to know.
 
In Detroit, WWJ will air B&B at 12:30pm going into network eclipse coverage at 1pm. WXYZ will air network coverage 1pm-3pm
 
I don't think any of the LOCAL Yakima stations will run local coverage, all national reports. But down in Oregon, completely different story. KGW, KATU, KVAL, etc etc etc all running live and local coverage for several hours on Monday. KTVZ/21 Bend shows the NBC news coverage, but with Madras in their coverage area I wonder if they will go all out locally like they never have before.
I wanted to be down in Oregon this weekend, but the only person who could have taken me has other plans. So I get to deal with 85% partial while everyone's celebrating totality just 2 1/2 hours south of Yakima.
 
How about the Nasa Twitter page, Facebook page and Website those have to be the places that most real astronomers would watch though for the Eclipse wall to wall.
 
97% totality here in the north area of metro Atlanta. But there is a forecast of 64% cloud cover, so the eclipse watchers will be hoping for breaks in the clouds.

On the West Coast ABC will pre-empt The View for Eclipse coverage Via Abc News this is what KGO-TV and KABC-TV has said about the eclipse coverage on their newscasts.
 
It's been the major story in Phoenix TV for the past week even though we will be only 63%. I am pretty sure the mainline stations will have non-stop coverage and that will probably continue for days afterward. Especially for all the school kids who are not being allowed to witness it first hand.
 
More on Atlanta TV: according to DirecTV's on-screen schedule, WSB (ABC) and WGCL (CBS) will join the networks for coverage while WXIA (NBC) will go local coverage. WAGA (Fox) will stay with syndicated programming (TMZ Live and Harry).

Update ABC Radio will air the Eclipse.

ABC News Radio will provide live coverage of the first total solar eclipse visible in the U.S. in 38 years on Monday, August 21, anchored by ABC News correspondents Aaron Katersky and Cheri Preston from New York. They will be joined by ABC News correspondent Alex Stone in the path of totality in Lincoln City OR, ABC News correspondent Brad Mielke in the path of totality in St. Joseph MO and retired NASA astronaut William McArthur, who is one of the few people to witness a total solar eclipse from space.

ABC News Radio will provide live coverage of "The Great American Eclipse" from 1-3pm ET and will offer multiple status reports each hour.

That's going to put a dent in AM station IDs during the eclipse. Remember, especially in 100% totality the AM band might be wide open during the middle of the eclipse. I will be taking a 3-foot loop and my Grundig G5 to DX while we are at 95.3% totality.
