NHK being removed as WYBE 35.2 subchannel on Sept. 30th...

So, NJTV will add a subchannel for the first time? NJN used to have a .2 channel on WNJS and I assume the other 3 stations.

Reading the crawl at the top of the screen on whatever channel it is on FiOS answers my question. Yes it's going on 23.2 and it will stay on whatever channel Comcast has it on. I wonder if Verizon will do the same.

I believe so. NHK is on Verizon channel 475.

And it's now in the proper picture format/aspect ratio. WYBE's feed was more of a pillar box affair. Now NJTV's format is 480i standard def, but at the normal 16:9 ratio.

I understand that WYBE itself is going off on Novenber 3rd. What's going to happen to its other subchannels, France 24 and RT America?

They didn't agree to a channel share or WHYY buying "WYBE" to get a subchannel must carry on satellite in addition to Comcast & Verizon?

France 24 is going to be carried by WLVT (Channel 39 out of Allentown/Bethlehem).

RT can be picked up via internet livestream or if you have the proper DirecTV package...
