Cuban AMs during and after Irma

As I write Hurricane Irma is pulling away from Cuba. What's everybody hearing or not hearing?
I only heard one weak Cuban on 530, not the usual Enciclopedia/Rebelde fight.
BTW I seem to have not heard Radio Reloj in weeks, either on 570 or anywhere else.

We've had a rather extreme solar event in the last few days, with folks in central latitudes reporting nearby "big signals" totally un-hearable or attenuated.

Cuban stations, for the most part, use shared transmitter sites in each location with 2 to 5 stations on single towers in multiplex operation (much like Hawaii).

So conditions, not storm damage, are likely to be making the Cuban stations hard to hear.

I've heard some of the usuals, at leastg one of the 530s, 600, 640 670 and 710 all running telephonic-sounding Irma coverage. I'm aware of the auroral conditions; there were reports of Northern Lights as far south as Boone, NC.

Most of the usuals are knocked out here. In the Chicago area I'm hearing a clear and all alone KIXZ Amarillo, Tx on 940.
Don't usually get that one in the clear.

I've heard something on 600 that's Cuban, and everything west of Ottawa is gone. None of the Chicago stations are there at all. The other night I could only get midwestern stations, but nothing south of us. The east coast was gone last night, but loud and clear tonight.

The dial is totally dead in Ottawa below 1030. If I don't hear it in the day, I'm not hearing it now. Even between 1030 and 1250 reception is very poor.

Can't speak to the AMs but it didn't seem to affect their shortwave services that much. Some of the Martí jammers were off at random, and there were some connection issues getting audio to RHC and Progreso, but I don't think any of them were ever knocked off the air.
