Meghan McCain to leave Fox News

Not surprise that Meghan to leave Fox News due to her dad's cancer as she hasn't been on Fox News for a couple of months.
 
She wasn't all that significant presence on the network anyway. What likely happened was her contract became due and FNC made the choice not to renew. Her involvement with her father's campaign raised her profile to the point where she received the opportunity to be on a national news channel, but she never took off from there.
