Station I heard

Hello. I was on my way to Sanford from Altamonte on Monday afternoon and I heard a station I had not heard before. I was in a lyft car at 2:55 PM or so and there was a station playing Joanna by Cool and the gang and it said something about greatest hits. The station was dropping out a good amount but was still somewhat drivable. Unfortunately the lyft driver changed the channel before I could get an ID. Any ideas what station this is? You guys know I'm a huge radio nerd. Maybe it was DX? At first I thought it was 92.7 smooth fm but I don't think it was that station.... Was it 98.5 the beach? I know that we have 98.5 the wire in Pine Hills..... There was another station coming in on top of the station as well. If I had to guess, I was in the Lake Mary area. Thank you guys for the help.

If you were the only passenger (I do not think Lyft has anything like Über pool), you should have explained your hobby to the driver
and either requested that he, she, or it let you listen to that station for a while or asked him, her, or it if they knew what the station was:
THEY PROBABLY DID!

Three weeks from now, we will be driving across four time zones from Miami Beach to the north of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
We mostly look forward to passing through and hearing groundwaves from the blowtorches that we have received at night in Miami by skywave and we love to hear groundwave-skywave phase cancelation.
Unfortunately, our window antenna might have been compromised by scraping some old tint off, but it will be nice to hear clear skywaves at night without being clobbered by Cuban stations.
Of course, we will do some general listening, but the ride has to be pleasant for my wife, so we will be listening mostly to these guys.

My guess would be WKTK Crystal River (Gainesville / Ocala market) http://www.ktk985.com/. They pride themselves on having a huge signal - hence the KTK (Koast to Koast) - a little lame but I remember the liners. They used to have an even bigger footprint, but a plane hit their tower and eventually forced a downgrade to their present 100 kW / 980 feet. It is very listenable in the Orlando area.
