December PPM's came out yesterday

https://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb007

The Christmas music has More FM up 5 points already to 12.8. WIP slid almost a point to 7.1 but they're still in 2nd place overall. WMGK is steady; WDAS, WOGL, and WMMR are down a tad; WXTU is steady; KYW is now down to 3.8 and tied with WHYY. WRNB stays around the same; WIOQ is down a bit; WUSL continues on a little slide; WISX comes back to earth at 3.0; WRFF is off an entire point all the way down to 3.0; WTDY is up nominally to 2.8 (I guess some people really do want to hear AC instead of Christmas music); WBEN ticks up a touch and WPHT-AM ticks down.

One would kinda have to assume the Christmas music is the reason for WRFF's annual dip. It would be interesting to know how many of WRFF's P1's are also big More FM listeners (outside of the Christmas season).

somehow, i don't think the suits over at Entercom are sweating much over the fact that their little "classic hits" (ugh) station is down a few bits of a point - besides which, the station is STILL top 5! But I also think that with the acquisition being done, there may be some more moves happening - stay tuned....

Yeah, just normal fluctuations like a bunch of the other stations. I don't think Entercom's gonna mess much with the station aside perhaps from trying to prevent it and WTDY from harming one another. I feel like in the near term, Entercom taking over will have about zero impact on the Philly cluster.
