A very KOMO Christmas

Why am I not surprised by this? Sinclair has an agenda and they will take a course that only advances that agenda.

The good news is when the Sinclair/Tribune merger takes place, Sinclair will likely be forced to sell either KOMO or KCPQ. While not privy to the way this will turn out, I do understand the odds on favorite to be sold would be the Tribune stations. However, with the Seahawks on Fox, I wonder if there may be some serious thought of keeping Trib (KCPQ) and dumping KOMO. Again, I am not any kind of insider here, so someone can correct me.

Of course, the doomsday scenario would be Sinclair keeping KOMO and Fox buying KCPQ.

It is an interesting scenerio. First, we need to know whether Sinclair will be able to keep Tribune stations in the same market. (Not likely). Then, what would Sinclair's best interests be? An ABC affiliate in a liberal market? Or a former Trib station with an NFL contract? And then, how much would the Fox network pay for KCPQ? Lots of unanswered questions, but all outcomes are currently on the table. Should be one to watch.
