K235CS 94.9 is on the air

This is the new translator for KLVL, located near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Highway 249. Solid signal at my Cy-Fair location. Signal is directional in a N-W-S semicircle which keeps it away from KRUT. Only hearing announcements for 1480 in the time I've listened.

(BTW I originally posted this last night, but it appears a lot of recent posts were lost when the site went down Wednesday evening. I was unable to access anything and was getting an "encountered a database error" message No problems with any other site. Moderators know anything? I suspect the site had to be restored to a previous saved point.)

Its not translating 1480...KLVL is playing music...top 40 oldies....but that's about par for Siga

Huh? I just checked 1480 and 94.9 and they are simulcasting.

Reminder: If you are hearing Spanish language religion on 94.9 it is either KRUT or KPFG.

Must be.. I'm in Pasadena so out of range for the xlator I guess...but last time the old xlator was on, and it may still be at the AM site, it wasn't carrying the AM audio...

Yeah, in Pasadena you would be hearing KPFG on 94.9. I haven’t heard any sign of the old 95.3 translator in many weeks; perhaps the same unit was moved to the new location. Near downtown 95.3 is a very weak mix of KEPH, KTTF, and KZLD.

LOL how does 94.9 sound? Siga's translator in San Antonio on 92.5 has crappy Internet audio and 65% of the time it's just broadcasting dead air because the Internet goes out. Right now and for the past week it's been dead air.
