Chris Christie to ABC News contributor

i bet he won't last a full year before he quits or gets fired. he's already a polarizing figure in American Politics, ranging from bridgegate, beachgate, and all other political things he did in office during his time as Governor of New Jersey. and he's a Cowboys fan in a state divided between Eagles, Jets and Giants fans (with Eagles fans isolated in the southern half of that state as it's next to Philly and the northern half closer to New York City).

I commend ABC for this hire. Some genuine balance in their coverage for a change.

Uh...really? They've had conservative reporters and commentators before - notably Brit Hume and John Stossel. And Christie really isn't particularly conservative, just an hugely arrogant power-hungry gas bag way past his sell-by date. I can't see the upside for ABC.

Their ratings will plummet. I only watch 2 things on ABC - The Chew and when it starts on March 27th, the new version of Roseanne.

That's one more than me...I may watch one episode of Roseanne out of curiosity, and to see how they bring Dan (John Goodman) back to life. Then I'm out. Talk about being past your sell by date...
