Elusive 50KW clear-channel caught! 2/9/18

Finally! This has been reported in BC several times lately and I haven't been able to confirm it. Finally did very late last night.

1100 - WTAM OH, Cleveland; Coast to Coast AM mixing weakly with KNZZ/KFAX at 0028 PT 2/9; faded up at 0030 with what sounded like a PSA, followed by 'NewsRadio WTAM' ID and WX forecast. Have it on recording as well. NEW #757, 50KW at 1,951 miles! This is OH #3, WCKY and WLW are the others. Just caught CHAM/820 a few nights ago so this is sweet! KGYN/1210, KFAQ/1170 and KFAB/1110 were at good levels as well. Low solar activity helps.

Nice job Crainbebo. Conditions have been very good lately. Many US & Canadian stations coming in very well on the Northern Ireland receiver. WBBM was blasting in recently--stronger than I've ever heard them on that receiver.
 
I haven't had a minute to check that Northern Ireland receiver, and it's a shame.
 
My impressive catch that wasn't..... About 10-12 years ago in a hotel room in Belleville, Ontario. I heard country music blasting in on 1100...but no ID...an hour or so before sunrise. So I got very intrigued. But then, after about 5 or 10 minutes I realized what day it was. Sure enough it was the WTAM morning crew with an April Fools joke!
 
Too bad they didn't ID themselves as '3WE' that whole morning...
