Charles Lazarus Toys R US Founder dead at 94

yes, it's pretty sad, but 94 years old, well, the guy did live a long life.

it seems the irony is he died right as Toys R Us, the company that pretty much was his "Baby" dies too.

and what killed Toys R US wasn't the internet (granted they did contributed to it a little) was it got bought out by greedy vulture capitalist who raped the company of it's money and pretty much put it in "unrecoverable" debt.

Yes this is crazy the former leader of Toys R US dies at the same time as the company is going out of Business.

Yes, that is a really odd coincidence.

Something similar happened in the radio business here in Pittsburgh when WWSW-AM
changed call letters to WTKN in 1980. On the day that occurred the man who had founded
the station in 1931 (his initials were "W.S.W.", I don't recall his name) also passed away.
