I know this has very little to do with Texas radio, but since there's nothing to talk about here I thought I'd mention it. Admins feel free to move the topic if you wish.
AvRack Radio - A to Z in music genre: http://avrackradio.webs.com/

Basically this is a station which plays any genre, at any time. I've heard it go from rock to hip-hop to country. It's as if the operator's got his music collection on shuffle. Pretty cool stuff and the sound quality on this is amazing IMO. Apparently, the station uses just a couple Winamp plugins (SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading Output and Stereo Tool) to crossfade and equalize the sound, or so I've read.

Wow! It's nice to see someone out there appreciates my web radio stream! It's always a work in progress, but I do keep things rolling along, and adding new content to my station. I don't make any money off of it at all, but I do enjoy sharing a variety of music to others out there anyway I can. People (Us Americans are the worst) get so genre locked that they just dismiss a song just because of the "type" of music it is. FM radio stations still are very genre locked to this day. I think that's why streaming sites like Pandora, and Spotify do so well now is because people can make these amazing mixes of music, and discover new music instead of always having the top 40 shoved down their throats all day long! I really even have a hard time listening to one Genre for longer than a few songs anymore. If it sounds good I'm going to play it!

Thanks Anonymouse for the mention, and if you, or anyone has any suggestions, or comments please feel free to contact me here, or on radio site http://avrackradio.webs.com !

Thanks, N4! Glad to see this still going. We need AvRack in TX on an LPFM or something. They'll do something different than mainstream.

Ha! I wish I could broadcast over FM waves everywhere!! :) Until then I guess internet streaming will have to do. At least we are in the age of the smartphone, and bluetooth. That's how I stay sane in my car. ;)

Thanks again for listening! Always glad to hear good things on the interwebs.
