Maybe you're thinking: where's morning TV? It was slowly added during the early 2000s: now all five main channels broadcast 24 hours a day.
Thankfully, I was so little to remember that a long time ago Argentinian TV stations didn't sign on until 11am, noon or 1pm!

This is not a well understood way of operating, as US and Canadian stations have long populated the mornings with programming.

I have also had trouble explaining that "prime time" is not 6-10 AM and 3-7 PM as it is in the US; it's "la segunda mañana" from 9 to 12 and the early afternoon from 12 to 15. The reason being that far fewer persons listen in private cars given the high use of public transportation.

There's a reason why Pergolini was on from 9 to 12, not 6 to 9: more available listeners.

Yeah, but that's radio's primetime. Television's primetime is from 8PM-midnight here.
I almost forgot something: until the mid-2000s, the one and only Ibope (now Kantar Ibope Media) measured ratings from noon to midnight, and not from early morning to late night. So, that could be one of the causes of not having TV in all channels during the morning.

Here, in 1994, three stations signed on at noon, one broadcasted the whole day and another signed on at 10am.
