KQQB 1520 now playing music

They're now playing just music with no announcements. I'm hearing mostly 70's oldies with some smooth jazz mixed in.

LOL i just listened for about 20 minutes to parts of a conversation between 2 guys, there might have been a woman too in the background for a sec but not sure.
They were talking about setting up, one guy was helping the other setting up equipment and asking if guy 2 could hear guy 1 through guy 2's headphones. LOL and then I think guy 1 was asking guy 2 about scheduling things but I'm not sure, guy 1 was cut off from the on-air. Evidently KQQB just had a fail airing a convo which shouldn't have been on-air. But it got too boring to listen so I turned my radio off hahahahahaha maybe you guys can still catch the end of it.

Update, it's back to playing smooth jazz.

1520 has been almost all smooth jazz since my last post. I have not heard any announcements.

Sure during the day. But IDK how long the smooth jazz should last. I like the smooth jazz sometimes though when I'm just chillin'.

A day or two after my last post it went back to smooth jazz. Now since at least yesterday it's completely off-air. I guess they're done playing with different music on it, probably trying to save money now since no one wants to rent KQQB out.

Transmitter on during the day, but dead air now for several days at least...

Had received a private message about KQQB but cannot seem to view it. I am not sure what is going on with the station but I understand the prior programmer has thrown in the towel. I just don't get why KQQB, given it's coverage, has been unable to find a qualified programmer to lease the station long term. The rates are certainly favorable and the owner is a really good guy.

B-Turner I sent you the private message earlier about KQQB. I was saying you should get ahold of the new owner (The previous deceased owner's brother) since you know him. Maybe you can tell him about the dead air.

I agree with you I'd expect it to have something lined up for programming by now, as the new owner Joe is apparently nice.
