As a regular watcher of CBS 5 News at 10 (love their "News and Weather in the First 10 Minutes" format), I'm wondering about the pairing of Sean and Kris. I'm sure Kris is a nice person, but she is not a particularly strong anchor. Since Kaley O'Kelley has recently left KTVT in Dallas, would they consider enticing her back to Phoenix to anchor with Sean at CBS 5? I think Sean and Kaley would make a much stronger main anchor team.

IMHO the problem is Sean not Kris! Currently there is not a bigger egomaniac on Phoenix TV than Sean. As for bringing Kaley back. NO! All we need is Miss stuckup high society paired with Mr. Ego. A good way for me to change the channel.
Also what good is is Paul Horton? He doesn't seem to have a (AMS)shield and I am sick of his attitude too.
Channel 15 anyone?
I agree with base 12, the problem is Sean and not Kris.
He doesn't have much to say and when he does, it seems
off the cuff and weird. I cannot remember him ever starting
any on air banter.......

Sean isn't great, but Kris seems to be far worse. Kris literally makes me a bit nervous. She often stumbles through her scripts (particularly when solo anchoring). Any anchor on 3/5 could do better with Sean than Kris.
As for Kaley, I wasn't aware that she was stuck up. Did you see her in public and she didn't speak with you? As an anchor, I liked Kaley a lot and miss her on GMAZ (she was a whole lot better than Olivia).
With the feelings expressed, perhaps Sean and Kris need to go!

I think it is obvious where I stand. IMHO It is Sean and Paul that should be given a happy retirement. Olivia is far better than Kaley and she works well with Scott too.
Well, I simply disagree with your opinion. Kaley is FAR better than Olivia and Kris is definitely the weak spot. If you want to see how weak Kris is, just watch her anytime she has to solo anchor the 10pm newscast (after a few minutes, I just turned to 3...I will take Brandon and Heather anytime over Kris and Sean).
